The first manned space flight to the moon was undertaken 40 years ago.
More recently, an American fine art photographer, Michael Light, was given exclusive access to the NASA photographic archives from the expedition. He created a series of digital print reproductions exhibited around the world, of particularly impressive images.
Following the successful business rescue and sale of a London fine art gallery, Charterfields have sold a trio of these Michael Light framed photographs, taken in outer space.
