Neil is our managing director and a founder member of Charterfields with David Smith in 1992. Before life at Charterfields, Neil held partnerships and directorships with national firms of chartered surveyors, where he developed and led valuation teams in the United Kingdom and overseas.
Neil heads Charterfields' corporate division and is involved with all aspects of business development and practice covering corporate valuations, statutory valuations and claims resolution. In over thirty years in the profession, Neil has worked in most regions of the world, acting for many major UK and international clients.
Neil has had a long connection with education in the Peak District and is actively developing Charterfields' community programme that plans to develop beneficial links with inner city schools to promote sports initiatives for primary school children, and with voluntary organisations in Sheffield dealing with teenagers and substance abuse.
In his spare time, Neil enjoys family life and claims to be a passionate but irregular cyclist.
